PSL is a lifestyle choice. A lifestyle that isn’t always gut friendly.  We’ve scoured the internet for the friendliest, nutritious alternatives and found the golden child turmeric to be the answer. Turmeric is everywhere these days, giving PSL a run for its money. Famed for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant powers, turmeric is golden in color and warming in flavor. 

Ingredients 

1 Tablespoon cinnamon 

½ teaspoon ginger 

½ teaspoon cloves 

¼ – ½ teaspoon turmeric (the more, the spicier) 

1/8 teaspoon nutmeg 

1/16 teaspoon/ 1-2 grinds of black pepper 

Directions 

Combine ingredients and store in an airtight container. 

Heat your favorite milk or dairy alternative and add 1 tsp, or to taste, of the mix. Mix or froth and enjoy! You can even sneak some cooked pumpkin to get that sweet, sweet PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) flavor.  

Alternative use options are endless – sprinkle in oatmeal, yogurt, or top sweet potato fries before placing in the oven. Tired of the same old veggies? Sprinkle this on anything and it instantly tastes like fall. Enjoy.
